I really like her in that white Balmain coat/dress, plus the hair and make up are gorgeous. Her and her bodyguard would make such a ridiculously beautiful couple.
I agree, she looks best in simpler looks, she sometimes over cooks some of her looks but she is a Texas/beauty queen deep down, we kind of expect that OTT from her.
She looked amazing in the cover of The Gentlewoman in 2013, just her, hair pulled back, minimal make up, black and white shots and simple pieces from Alaia, Prada and Dior.
I also agree that Gianni would have lived her, shame they never met. Her best red carpet look IMO is the 2005 oscars when she wore a 1992 Atelier Versace black velvet siren dress, hugged her perfectly, simple hair, great make up (that eyeliner) and fabulous jewels.

Can’t wait to see her at the Met Gala, surely she must be going after missing 2 years and will make a splash.

She has looked absolutely stunning lately, I just saw her Humanitarian Award speech. She looks even better than she did in the early 2000’s.
I can’t wait to see her new film, her red carpet looks might be hit or miss but on stage and in her videos she delivers like no other.
I hope Otherside has a visual. It’s such a gorgeous song.

^ Please do! I couldn't agree more with your entire post. She's been looking FANTASTIC in her recent at-home appearances. Gorgeous in the Disney Sing-A-Long, lovely at the Global Citizen One World show, stunning at the Class of 2020 Virtual Graduation, and beyond beautiful delivering her BET Humanitarian Speech. And it's nice to see her give The Gift its rightful credit, as well... the lack of promotion when the project was first released left so many incredible songs with strong messages in the dust.
To my knowledge, she recently signed a contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing, plus has two upcoming Netflix projects and another Disney project (possibly Black Panther 2? that would be great) on the way.
