Beyonce

Her new film/documentary was a bunch of ego crap. I'm truly sorry for her miscarriage but she could have kept it for Oprah.

Tottaly agree.

Is that new?

Her HBO documentary pulled in 1.8 Million viewers on Saturday night, the highest ratings HBO has gotten for a documentary.

i didnt see the documentary as it got so-so reviews in the states. does anyone know what else she plans to do with all this footage? being filmed every waking moment for 8 years is a bit much...or is the best footage in the HBO documentary?

from the GQ cover story.....

Anytime she wants to remind herself of all that work--or almost anything else that's ever happened in her life--all she has to do is walk down the hall. There, across from the narrow conference room in which you are interviewing her, is another long, narrow room that contains the official Beyoncé archive, a temperature-controlled digital-storage facility that contains virtually every existing photograph of her, starting with the very first frames taken of Destiny's Child, the '90s girl group she once fronted; every interview she's ever done; every video of every show she's ever performed; every diary entry she's ever recorded while looking into the unblinking eye of her laptop. ... Beyoncé's inner sanctum also contains thousands of hours of private footage, compiled by a "visual director" Beyoncé employs who has shot practically her every waking moment, up to sixteen hours a day, since 2005. ... This digital database, modeled loosely on NBC's library, is a work in progress--the labeling, date-stamping, and cross-referencing has been under way for two years, and it'll be several months before that process is complete. Mostly of what she records is herself is rehearsing, interviews, maybe studio sessions and making of videos or photo shoots and every performance on a show or on tour that she does, then watches it for critique. I believe that's what most of the footage she has consists of.

Other than that, she has some personal footage with family and friends like birthdays or a vacation like any other person does as well as some interview dialogue for the documentary and footage of her talking into her diary which is her laptop/webcam.

She revealed a bit about herself (a miscarriage, losing her relationship with her dad, managing herself, showing her album to Sony/Columbia, a toast during Jay'Z birthday, her hugging Blue and the baby at a family reunion) which are "intimate" specially for Beyonce standards and how private she is.

In a way she let people in but still controlled it a lot, I think some people expected her yelling at Michelle from Destiny's Child, throwing diva b*tch fest like tantrums (she does have them on there but she's very stern and to the point and not over the top with it), personal conversations with Jay and so on.

She needs to stop trolling with the rehearsal pics and drop her new music ASAP! I want to know the lyrics to the songs before the tour.

i heard that the song is called Beyhive? That would be awesome

Preach!

I remember a song in the documentary called Runaway. Absolutely LOVED it..I really hope it's the same "runaway" people are talking about (ie the leaked tracklist). If the tracklist really is Beyonce's, I am a bit disappointed to see that there are only 4 tracks without any collaborators.. I am very excted to hear her new music.

Btw, how many fashionspotters managed to get tickets for her show? I tried the beyive pre-sale, 02 priority, ticketmaster and couldn't get any. My last chance is my fiance's investment bank. Thanks heaven for corporation's tickets

Take a look at photos from the SHAPE shoot (including online exclusives!)
