, I've really been appreciating some of the false blacks and dark inky shades that border on it and add quite a lot of dimension. Haider Ackermann's collection for example.

and will continue to do so for seasons to come,
at least up to fw07-08

its such a 'fresh' and creative alternative to 'real' black

^ What exactly do you mean by "false black" Lena? Black with other colors undertones...? or a washed out version of black.....?

^ Perhaps blues, greens, reds etc. that are so dark that they lean towards black?

I love that red one---the "false black"
That would be an even more interesting trend. It's hardly something I often see--where I live, if someone wants to wear dark clothing, they go for dark blue or black... but this coloured black is so nice, especially when it's shiny.
