Hi guys! How long does your battery last, usually? Mine lasts for about 3 days, but I don't keep my phone on 24/7 (usually I turn it off when I go to bed and turn it on when I wake up).
I have the Curve 8320
Just wondering if mine is slowly dying or if that's just how the phone is. Lately I feel like the battery's been dying a lot faster.

wow, mine lasts for about 10 hours, if I use it a lot. With light texting/bbm/email etc. I get 16 hours. But battery life def decreased, I've had mine for just over a year.

Yeah, that's usually how you can tell that you need a new battery.

A full charge starts lasting less and less time. Time for a new battery

Hahah I was reading the through the thread and I saw many comparison to which bb you guys should get and I would suggest any cause either way a blackberry is addictive

oh yeah have people actually brought the word/sheet/ppt to go premium program cause im contemplating whether to spend $50 for those last minute essays

Finally got my 8320 Curve working. I was given it for free after someone's contract with Roger's expired. After attempting to unlock it myself, calling Rogers to get the unlock code (I knew they wouldn't help but I had to try), I ended up going with an online company who conveniently had the lowest price and quickest turn around time. 3 minutes after I paid I was emailed the code and after a minute or so, it was totally unlocked. I was able to pop my UK sim card in, and right now while I'm at my dad's, I just am using our at home internet access. I'm not certain whether it's worth it to keep though...

I'm on pay as you go in the UK and that obviously doesn't have cheap data and I would like to use it for data. So I may sign on to a contract (since Virgin mobile raised some of their pay as you go rates) and sell it on ebay.....

my battery life lasts around 16 hrs but i'm a junkie, i have 4 email accounts (i separate personal and work emails), and i have these applications run 24/7 : yahoo messenger, gtalk, viigo, ubertwitter.
and my phone never rings because i put everything on vibrate

i'm rather neurotic when i see the battery go down a bar. lol

Its funny!! i was asking a co worker of mine who had the tour and switched back to the bold...he said to me up to now there is nothing like the bold!

I had the curve now i am going back to bold...seriously bold just rocks..even if it look bulky.

Though my bold just did give pms cause of the memory disk nearly fu;ked up my fone but its all sorted out now

i recently got the tour... loving it. now i get up-to-date with emails and other important notifications. it's really addictive but oh so useful.

There are tiny shops that customize it for you in dubai! They even make the ball different colors

Since I have a MacBook Pro... and there is no software to help transfer data between the two, how is the Bluetooth? Is it easy to put stuff from a mac onto the the BB and vice versa? Thanks

Actually there is! I use the PocketMac Sync Manager that can be found here: https://www.blackberry.com/profile/?eventId=9042. And it looks like Blackberry is FINALLY releasing their own Mac software soon!

For anyone who is considering getting the Tour over the Bold:
1. DON'T.
2. The Tour is the cheaper version so that more people can afford Blackberries thus the following:
3. No flash on your camera
4. Less memory
5. Not 3G
6. Positive note: brighter screen, bigger keyboard

If you can splurge a little, get the Bold! If not and you reallllly want a Crackberry, you could settle for a Tour and just be satisfied.

I use the bluetooth between my blackberry and mac no problem. Since I don't have a media card I can't transfer whole songs, but i have transferred several photos. It's a wee bit of a process (I'm sure there is an easier way I just dont know about) that involves basically going in and approving each photo but it transfers super quick.
