'Blackout' Voted By Fans Best Album Of 2007 On Billboard

this is very unexpected, for me.
Idk if they decided to cut Britney some
slack & give her this or what, but. .
Congrats britney i guess

It all seems like a big joke to me. Even more so because they didn't even get the album titles right...

I don't think it's fair to judge music based on what a musician looks like:rolleyes:

i gotta agree with you! if we were to judge music on the way the musician looks then there's a LOT of musicians we'd all avoid! you just have to ignore their looks (if it bugs you) and appreciate their music! :P

Blackout is just as good as any other Britney Spears album. I think it's a great album for clubbing/dancing. Brit might be messed up but her producers etc aren't.

I haven't heard the album at all, just the two singles. Is it worth listening to? I have to admit I am a bit surprised about this.

Yep, it's really a killer pop/dance album. I love it, but I still wouldn't call it the best album of the year.

16,000 votes....
probably all by people under the age of 15.

I don't mean to bash anyone else's taste BUT I think that list is an absolute joke. There are so many albums out there that would put these "top ten" to shame.

We're talking about the young west-indian girl who constantly dresses half naked, jiggles around in front of the camera with a big pout and sings aggressive lyrics right? Or is there a different M.I.A I don't know about? She looks like a bratz doll.

West Indian Girl? M.I.A is from Sri Lanka. I can't get enough of her single Paper Planes. I heard sone of Britney's song and they're not that bad at all. But I wouldn't put it first.

I think Britney album is very good, but when I look at the list, there were much better albums in 2007 and they are not even on the list!

I don't get the hype about M.I.A, she just sounds too aggressive and sl*tty.

No, she's not West Indian at all. She is Sri Lankan. I think you're mistaken; are you thinking of Rihanna?

I would've thought you would appreciate M.I.A. since she her music is somewhat politically charged and doesn't exploit her sexuality/body.

With all the crazy Britney stories now, I was watching her videos. And I am somewhat confused and ashamed to say I think they are really catchy. Almost, makes me want to download the album. Whoever the producers are, really did a great job.
