Very disappointing. I really don't know what they're doing exactly...which is kind of ironic since their work tends to be very complex. But it looks ordinary somehow.

just another big waste of time and money, and a waste of my viewing time.
sometimes i wonder if some of these designers are in thier right mind.........

I'm so tired of this look. Bless was cool for like a split second and then they ran out of ideas pretty darn fast. What is this? What is the point of it? Why waste the time, the money, the models, the space? To show a drawstring t-shirt and grey sweatpants? Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag are stylists and as we've seen with Imitation of Christ and Ann-Sofie Back, stylists don't cut it as designers. The design element in these clothes is just laughably amateur and unskilled. Bless should shut down the fashion line and go back to making cute little objets like they used to. I see nothing noteworthy or clever here.

^as much as I hate to admit it,they do actually do better accessory works or objets as you say than clothes. Although,I wouldn't lump them up with Tara Has-been....stylist, Desirèe is,but far better vision they got than any of them....at least normally they do...this one is just off

Yeah, Bless has done a few cool things in the past but to be honest I don't see too much difference between this show and any Imitation of Christ show. It's just boring, cheap-looking clothes, peppered with random weirdo details and a pretentious attitude--to make it saleable to victims that think they're buying into some intelligent, avant garde aesthetic. But this is weak even by those standards.

I dunno,Metal. Usually, they're much better cutters and tailors than that silly twit. Desiree honed her skills working at Helmut Lang. Not that I am disagreeing with you about the general approach or anything. I think this collection is just way off...their past collections have been really good to me. A/W 04 particularly.

not something i would wear, especially the pants.

very disappointing, indeed
in conclusion, seems like i only liked the "green" collection :ninja: .

I like it even if it's very commercial and basic, I like casual clothing though. I like the shear jacket with the lace alot and I love the wig/top.

the problem is not the fact that it is basic (martin grants clothes are basic but they are well designed and of good quality). Here we see a collection ( this is not even a collection)that is cheap, ill fitting and badly made, this is not high fashion, why spend money to put on a fashion show with these kind of clothing.
it is better that someone buy something at old navy or H&M than to buy something fom this. the sheer jacket is "passable" but you still need a gap tank to wear with it, as thier is absolutely no design to these group of clothes trying to pass as a collection.

Hmm, I don't think it's great, but it's really not as bad as some are saying. With all respect to zamb, you can't really tell if it's bad quality from the pictures, you just can't. I'm sure it's better quality than H&M. I saw some bless recently in colette and thought it was very interesting, and it looked well made to me. The menswear reminds me a bit of Chalyan.

And guys, don't you think that sometimes we should get some perspective on what's "normal" or "basic" here - sheer shorts worn with cowboy boots and a shirt that looks like a victorian table cloth does not look like something I've seen in my local H&M!!

i like the huge pyjama trousers, third picture post one ;)

the rest are for the bless hyped types and YES, they still exist.. it's almost a religion by now
as for the girls, i honestly believe they are just having a good laugh while making a bit of pocket money on this.. i wouldnt get too much worked up, each one has a way of achieving their dream

zamb, Bless and Martin Grant live/belong in different spheres/planets but this is ok, there is space for everyone no?

i agree and i've been saying this for some time now...
when nonsense like this gets attention, it takes away from others with genuine talent...
editors can't cover every single show...
and stores only have enough dollars to buy a certain ammount of merchandise...

so in the end...
talented designers (and even the consumers) suffer, because stuff like this takes up valuable retail space which could go to someone more deserving...imo...
