Blue eye makeup S/S 08

Seems like blue eyeshadow, liner or glitter is the hottest look for summer. Deep rich metallic hues and eyeliners are the best. Looks particularly hot on bronzed skin because of the rich contrast. Of course, there's many variation to blue, from deep navy to metallic to matte.

Let's leave behind the prejudice that funky eye makeup is for teenagers because it does look very fresh.

Probably one the biggest makeup trend for the summer.

I love and collect blue e/s... especially bright ones. It's great that MAC re-released Parrot, I love teals/turquoise especially. Will post pics of me wearing them later (not at home laptop right now).

I've done it...i usually use it to highlite over a black mascara...it doesnt look quite so blue, its just something you can see in certain lights....i've gotten lots of compliments

I love the look at Proenza Schouler as well Kimkhuu! I have brown eyes like that first girl so it's nice to know that these shades don't only go well with light blue eyes.
