<<Jon Bon Jovi has apologised to David and Victoria Beckham for calling his baby son Romeo.

The singer's wife, Dorothea, gave birth to their fourth child in March and the couple loved the name Romeo - unbeknown that the football ace and the former Spice Girl had already called their second son that reports Femalefirst.co.uk.

He said: "We actually called him Romeo thinking it was the most beautiful, original name in the world, only to find out that David Beckham had already chosen it - so we apologise to the Beckhams for that.">>

Why the need for an apology?!

Personally i think its one of the most cheesy things you could call your child! and i agree Erin, its not like the Beckhams could sue him, though he was probably just being sarcastic or something.

The people who named their kids Chistopher and Jennifer have a lot of apologise to make

LOL - I don't see a need to apologize. How random. What I DO think is that the people that named their kids "Ethel" or something REALLY should apologize to their kids. haha.

 I agree! And same with people who name their children "Sarah" and "Mike"

And here I thought Jon was apologising to his son for giving him a goofy name.

"Dude, I'm totally sorry I named you Romeo. I don't want your *** getting beat in school for your lunch money, so tomorrow, your momma and I are going down to the courthouse and filing a name-change. By this time tomorrow, you'll be John, with an 'h'."

Lets not forget Jessica

I thank god that I have a unique name. I went to school with 15 Sarahs in my class! My poor professors could never get them straight and would often mix them up.

is he kidding??

lol I agree with oanadobre, if he's going to apologize (which is ridiculous) he should do so to Shakespeare :P or as Ms. Diorella and As You Like It said, to his son. Or to the whole world, actually :ninja:

Why does he need to apologise? Afterall the Beckhams were the originator or creator of that name, who are they that he needs to apologise?
