From WWD.com
Though it wasn’t exactly couture, Brian Kirkby and Zowie Broach, the designers of the British label Boudicca, showed a small presentation of luxury confections. Broach explained that they wanted to explore the idea of transparency (think juxtaposed layers of translucent lace and cotton) as a counterpoint to their first fragrance, Wode, which is packaged in a graffiti can and is billed as a visible perfume. (It comes out blue before turning transparent.) In fact, many of the dresses had invisible prints that were visible only when the fragrance was applied. But with their airy elegance, the dresses didn’t need that gimmick to look cool.

the laces really do give that effect of second skin. it's also really extraordinary how the layers feel like something out of nature...the way the volumes sort of feel like a growth or texture of a tree or a big flower bloom.

The strongest in a string of stellar focused works from them, nobody does lace effectively as they do, def...I adore the asymmetry in the lines

the invisible print idea is absolutely brilliant!!! goes hand in hand with their 'Invisible City Theme'

a few brilliant close up shots from dianepernet...the white draped dress is heaven:heart:
