Brad Pitt

I've never read an interview with him being this candid.

He's looking good during the Moneyball promo, and I also agree he has the best sunglasses collection.

I'm no Anniston fan, but he really should stop taking digs at her, not cool. The pictures also seem cheesy and so not him.

^ agree! It has been ages...and he is still talking? Who is not moving on here?

Anyways, like those photos on the previous page, but not on this one. he looks so different, probably because of the hair, and I am not talking about aging.

Thanks for posting that! I commend him for his honesty and hope this interview will set things straight. He admitted he wasn't happy, not because of Jen it was always him -- plenty of couples go through it. I doubt the tabloids will let this whole thing rest but at least we know why he did what he did.

Moneyball is a really good film and I'm excited to see the response it'll generate.

This man gives me heart palpitations! I love what he's wearing during the press conference!
And excellent interview.

Brad Pitt Covers Sports Illustrated

Brad Pitt sports an Oakland A’s cap on the September 26 issue of Sports Illustrated, on newsstands Wednesday.

Here’s what the 47-year-old actor, who stars in the upcoming movie Moneyball, shared with senior writer Austin Murphy:

On getting the SI cover: “I was just happy to do Sports Illustrated. To do something other than the fashion-y things, for something I respect, is much more fun.”

On his background in baseball: “It’s shameful how little I know about baseball…. I’m amazed they let me do this movie…. Baseball and I didn’t get along that well. I wrestled one year [in high school]. I dove one year. Everything but baseball.”

On what initially drew Brad to the Moneyball story: “I’m a sucker for the underdog story.”

On the end goal of the film: “What we were trying to do is tell an unconventional story in the Trojan horse of a conventional baseball movie.”

On the comparisons between Moneyball and three of his favorite ’70s films (The French Connection, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, All the President’s Men): “In scripts today, someone has a big epiphany, learns a lesson, then comes out the other side different. In these older films I’m talking about, the beast at the end of the movie was the same beast in the beginning of the movie. What changed was the world around them, by just a couple of degrees. Nothing monumental. I think that’s true about us. We fine‑tune ourselves, but big change is not real.”

Brad Pitt Talks Marriage Equality with Ellen DeGeneres

Brad Pitt stares thoughtfully at the audience on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Thursday (September 22).

The 47-year-old actor talked with host Ellen DeGeneres about his partner Angelina Jolie.

“We find our time. We carve out Mommy, Daddy time… It’s called a hotel. You got to get out of this house. You got to leave,” Brad said about finding mommy daddy time for him and Angie.

“I’ve said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this county had the right to get married…We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that’s not what we’re about,” Brad said about marriage equality.

“That’s not what makes us great. Until that is reversed. I just don’t get it. “It’a make’a no sense to me” (in a italian accent),” Brad concluded.

He is looking fantastic lately. And he's giving really good interviews. I love hearing (reading) him talk about films. He's actually a really intelligent guy and that comes across through interviews.
