Bralettes S/S 07

bralettes are for flat girls who dont need real bras. for the rest of us, this looks is just impossible

masquerade, I don't know. I think bralettes give a girl proper support, regardless of whether they really "need" it or not, size-wise. I think the tricky part to making them work is what you pair it with.

Like Alexandra8715 mentioned, a shirt w/ a little bit of bralette peeping out is not just reserved for the flat-chested girls out there. Those of us who have more to work with p) can go the skinny jeans + button-down + bralette route, or something similar, without having the bralette out there on full display. I love the idea of a slightly sheer tee + an interestingly patterned bralette underneath.

But then again, its different strokes for different folks right.? I didn't mean to go on for 2 paragraphs, really.!

i loved this on the runway. of course i could never pull it off. i'm too chubby and too conservative to wear them. but i like them. i think it can be pulled off in real life. you could always stick it OVER something and it'll look fine.

I think that how you decide to style it is the most important thing, if you keep the make-up and hair minimal and the stuff you choose to wear with it not being to trashy I think that you can come out looking pretty good even if you have larger breasts

or you can wear it on top of something else, I remember seeing a picture ofCarine Roitfeld wearing a black Prada fw06/07 bralette over a sweater and it looked really good, I can't find the picture anymore but I think it was backstage of a Prada show

I cannot believe no one has mentioned the episode of Seinfeld where the heiress wears a bra as a top and it makes Jerry and Kramer get into a car accident

I cannot see bralettes translating into anyone's life (and i'm not talking about ala cory kennedy or any other cobrasnake/misshapes reg.)

This is great on the runway but in real life it will make a decent layering peice. I would like to see how the masses make this one work!

I like cute bras under sheer tops but that is all. Not as just a top.

i dont know. by definiton bralettes dont have underwires/molded cups/etc. I wouldn't want to have to wear a bra and a bralette, thats a bit ridiculous. but its irrelevant because I am too modest for this trend anyway

It reminds me of late nineties teen movies like Can't Hardly Wait. Hahaha.

I'm more into the bandeau bra top to go under tanks, and I think this is cute for runway, ad campaigns, and editorials.

I love these i have a friend whos a burlesque artist she lives in these and looks stunning .. and shes not flat chestest either .. she wears hers in a vintage way and it looks fab .. a flat stomach is a must im just jeleous i couldnt wear anything like that
