I see a carefully cut and über-cool collection that comes with its very own cliché repellant.

I can also see a "shy but tough" chick, or a less histrionic, perhaps just more demure McQueen admirer, or even a savvy "forward thinking fashionista" who just appreciates original and clever design.

I like the collection a lot. B) You?

i want that grey skirt
:woot:  me too, what a skirt

 loved this collection, it was one of those I was really looking forward to see but had no invitation to see  never mind, I'm lucky xopher posted this here ;) thanks once again for the update.

Loved most of the outfits, the black 'semi-draped' blouse at last row, the other black 'draped' blouse on second row and the greay skirt are just amazing, he's a true talent

exciting news from bruno pieters; after five years of designing womenswear under his own signature name, bruno will introduce menswear for s/s 2007... this should be an interesting one to look at, I am looking forward seing how his signature couture trademarks will translate into menswear... :woot:

I will hopefully make it to attend Bruno's 5-year anniversary party on the 16th of June, it'll be right in time of the academy's show event... so if I can, I'll keep you updated!

awesome news, tricot! thanks for sharing :flower:

this sounds very promising... :buzz:

:woot:wow thanks so much tricot.. i always used to wonder why he didnt do menswear... i am so excited..:woot:

Hey tricotine, are you coming to the show? Would be a nice occasion to meet, should be a great afterparty too:zorro:

Fab news,Tricot!! :woot: Thank You!

But I do hope it doesn't stray too far from the aesthetics of his womenswear. The romanticism. That wonderful sense of drama and his amazing sense of artisanship and detail. I would be utterly disappointed if were just another men's line,if you know what I mean. Or at the very least keep those bits he does so well already as with a nice balance of the more accessible pieces.

Can't wait though!!

5 year anniversary? He is such a darling in Antwerp, isn't he? Of course,he's immensely and wonderfully gifted but I don't think I've ever heard of anybody doing that for another talent of his era.
