A little tragic that we didn't have a proper shelter for all of this until now.
I cannot quite pinpoint a trademark yet, he definitely leans towards a lot of Asian elements, the silk, shapes, textures. Even if his work is not instantly recognizable though, it is immediately emotive, I still remember flipping through that story with Sasha in awe, the scans are dreadful (and make no justice) but the way he piled together these soft fabrics with such serenity plus the set design and Leblon's photography, I was in love

Also love the thread's opener, so many unexpected designers on full emphasis (Zucca, Nasir Mazhar, Giuliano Fujiwara)..

Thank you, Cesar!!.. always with the very best (and underrated!) of menswear styling.

You described his work quite weel Mullet, I couldn't find a patern in all of his stories either, but he is definetly enjoying the freedom I supose he has at D&C and Another Man to experiment (as Alister is doing lately I think ), with great results I have to say.

The first ed posted is one of my favorites too for the same reason you said. Kenzo, Margareth Howell, Cerruti...

i just stumbled over this sad news:

We are very sad to announce the passing of a much loved member of the Dazed family

On New Year's Eve, Dazed & Confused's Senior Contributing Fashion Editor and Another Man's Senior Fashion Editor Bryan McMahon sadly passed away after a long, brave battle with a brain tumour. We have lost a cherished member of the Dazed family and the fashion industry has lost a beautiful bright star. We will be celebrating his life and work over the coming weeks on AnOther and Dazed Digital. Rest in peace Bryan.
