Burberry F/W 2025.26 London

his a**licking levels are sky high

😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Well he actually said that “he is in a good place rn” so that could mean anything…but something tells me that was his last show for the brand. Most of his team is currently looking for another job and KJ has been spotted in Burberry HQ few times over past month so that’s that.

it was a good show however nothing spectacular. it has his mark and it will become more and more evident throughout his tenure, I’m sure.

I’m so tired of reading people who want him somewhere else… he’s right where he should be.

While I'm glad his work for Burberry is finally getting better reviews (well, not here, but hardly anyone gets good reviews from TFSers nowadays :grinningwsweat:), I'm here to reiterate that it has been quite good all along and that Burberry flopping is not really his fault. Other than clearly trying to give the house more of a fashion edge while keeping it 'homely' - which the suits aren't appreciating because they still want it to be all about the trench and the check - Lee is rather capable of creating high-quality "everyday" pieces that would be great commercial offerings elsewhere too, whether it's a roll-neck with a chic little s(p)lit in the front, natty tailoring that makes you think it was precisely him behind some of Phoebe's hits at Céline or sturdy-yet stylish footwear. In line with that, I hope he soon moves to a brand that will appreciate and utilise his output more than Burberry does.
