GQ UK Digital Edition

I like the direction this is going. It's timeless, it's very British and it's luxurious.

Who's that? Looks like Taylor Hill or Alana Arrington. I love it and want to see more of the campaign.

Wow, colour me impressed! I like it, it's very evocative. And what a way to show their trench in a new light. This doesn't look like it was shot by Testino, which is a huge plus for me.

Is this for spring or autumn?

^ If I understand their see-now-buy-now schedule correctly, this should technically be for Spring 2017.

Looks like Amber Witcomb to me..

I like the image, really wonder who shot it.

Photographer is Josh Olins

Thanks for this! I like it even more now. Can we pop open the bubbly? Hopefully this means no more Testino at Burberry, and maybe even Vogue, after Alexandra leaves.

Things have been looking up for Josh Olins ever since he shot Duchess Catherine for British Vogue. Here I must give Alexandra credit.

I really don't understand their see now buy now concept. Tom Ford for example is just showing his spring collection at the time it arrives in stores...
But this collection feels like it's designed to be kinda seasonless...
I'm confused.

I agree.

It's also a good change of pace for Burberry. I love the color tones in this first shot.

You're not alone, I'm also very confused by their concept.

Their campaigns are basically previews for their collections now; usually released ahead of the actual runway show. I'm just relying on what Vogue currently lists, so technically next for Burberry would be Spring 2017.

Although the image just says February...so I guess the next collection will be the "February Collection"

^ From what I understand correctly, this photograph would eventually be a campaign for their collection which they are going to show on February 20. But since they are showing only two shows a year, I think they could just say Spring/Summer 2017. It would have been less confusing. I think they are using it to tease the new collection and for the livestreaming and online store.

So far it looks very promising. Reminds me of their old ads with Stella Tennant...

Regarding the see now/buy now... Burberry has definitely abandoned the "spring/summer" and "fall/winter" appellations. Now it's September collection and February collection. This is not just a teaser for the show, it will be the campaign for the whole season. It was the same with the September ad with Jean Campbell.

wow I like it...it's so fresh and I love the mood from this campaign

Thanks god they got rid of Testino. This looks plain but fresh. Testino is just so 200 years ago.

Full cast: Ella King, Maya Gunn, Amber Witcomb, Elfie Reigate, Tamara Long, Jess Cole, Sophie Hamilton, Nora Attal, Myles Dominique, Tom Fool, Tom Walmsley, Alex K and Henry Kitcher.

Blimey, and those castor heels?? It's the type of shoe only Edina Monsoon could get away with. Absolutely atrocious.

I do love this campaign, it's very British. Of course it looks a bit like a UK Vogue edit, but I like it. The jumper on the last guy looks to die for.

Actually weird to see something so natural and relatable from Burberry after all the years of department store photography from Testino. So glad his days are numbered. He's most likely out at Burberry, and soon to be out at British Vogue once Alexandra leaves off.

Their best campaign since SS09.
The clothes looks more beautiful there. This is beyond great. Marc Jacobs did the rounded-holed heel better...

Thank god! NO MORE TESTINO!!!!!!!

So boring and look very Fall to me

Weirdly enough it feels very British and warmly welcoming. It seems like the whole new business model also change their creative process in a very good way.
