This is Testino's best work in years. And the worst thing about it is that it is not great at all.
+ it feels kinda desperate to "steal" Brosnan. He was/is one of the face of Saint Laurent and you hire him to do a Saint Laurent lookalike campaign wearing one of the pieces that can comes from a Permanent collection of Saint Laurent???

While I do really like this campaign for Burberry, I agree....why Testino? For a brand that's so adamantly British...from its campaign models to its celebrity endorsements, why not a British photographer?

Would love to see what Jamie Hawkesworth could or would do for Burberry...

i agree, different photographer would be good...but i guess mario is part of their branding image now

i think this is an interesting campaign. shame we can't see more of the runway pieces though...the nakedness isn't very nice.

Don't get me wrong, Burberry needed to not try as hard as they had been, but really this is so amateur and awkward and forgettable.

It's a good concept with a horrible cast. I would have loved to see Kate or even Daria instead. These newbies simply aren't powerful enough or experienced enough to completely sell it. I would have just kept Ruth because she's bringing it more than any of the others.
