Céline S/S 2016 Paris

That set was awful. I don't get what they tried to show with that, but it's a hot mess.
On the other hand that collection is much more clean and commercial than fall/winter for example. Some pieces were soulless and cold, but it's good as a whole. I'm just curious what Phoebe wants to do with Céline, because she's been changing her aesthetic again.

Whoa, what is going on with PFW? I thought last season was insipid, but this year takes the cake!

Slip dresses, bad use of plaid, and those bad cocoon sleeves? It must be the single collection of hers that i really dislike, it just looks weak as a whole!

I did like one or two of those coats.

Bad collection, even Raf's collection is much better compared to this. It's too busy and no attractive simple shapes to be found. Overworked maybe?

not nice, the lace started out interesting but she made it ugly

Beyond disappointing. I had such high expectations for this and while I don't hate it, it's very boring/safe.

Quite bad and directionless. Looks like done in a rush and without a clear idea of where they wanted to go...

She has done 'automatic design' the last couple of seasons (consciously without a specific direction), but it worked before. This time around it looks messy and out of touch.

This is being by far the most uninspired season of all times.

Some lovely things, but her simpler and earlier collections were much better.

That's was i thought.
Many different looks, from lingerie to some kind of "office" look , kind of bathrobe in fauxfur ( for summer??? ), conservativ dresses and a some kind of street looks. Messy! Right!

Those opening lace dresses are so...ugly. Not enough in an interesting, challenging way. Just cheap-looking and clunky. Why on Earth would she open the show with those?

The looks on Edie Campbell and Karly Loyce are great, but then again they harken back to looks from her F/W 2014 collection.

Her "directionless" approach to designing led to wonderful results last season...here not so much.
