Thank god she won't make it like Oprah's. She's been totally overexposed. Too many street style pictures and magazine appearances. I've gotten sick of seeing her, unfortunately (well I've gotten sick of all this magazine editors' style obsession). I miss her work behind the lens.

I just got it 2 days ago, but haven't had the chance to peruse it. I plan on spending some alone time at a favorite outdoor cafe going over every inch of it today. I cannot wait!

soooo: happy to let you know latest news , guys. i just met Carine and i was asking her about upcoming stories and she said to me what she`s gonna have whole VMan magazine and on the next week she is starting she shooting (i believe it is mostly Testino), also upcoming purple fashion. i believe s/s 2012, then i was asking her to use more Saskia and she said what she is always with her and Sakia is booked for Purple fashion. (wohooo!) i don`t know if it`s the whole issue styled by Carine, but i hope at at least the biggest part of it. (purple have to do it to defence their reputation especially after their latest failure issue) . I also was asking her about her pause with Testino in Vogue Paris( i guess, you are remembering this late 2008-early 2010 time -out). She said, what they`re just like a couple: he is jealous what she`s working with different photographers.

I am very happy/ pround what i have almost all materials from her Irreverent (only 2 very early stories 87-89 are missing in my collection) book, though i bought it and she signed it for me. so i can name myself as her biggest fan. btw, she said what this book was prepared to launch one year ago, but it was delayed, and i think it is better since she left paris vogue.

btw, she died her hair more dark and brown again and was wearing all black...
