Carine Roitfeld will have to hightail it to Barneys following Calvin Klein’s 5pm show on February 9, if she plans on making the party CEO Howard Socol is hosting in her honor. The cocktail fête—from 6-8pm—is celebrating the Lutz & Patmos sweater the French Vogue editor designed in collaboration with Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos. Available in three colors—grey, cream, and black—the round necked, long garment has what is best described as a “lived in” look, complete with deliberate holes (à la moth nibbles) strategically placed throughout, and fake elbow patches. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the sweater, which ranges from $475 for women's and $495 for men's, will benefit Operation Smile. Hopefully she’ll have enough time to pose for photos, sign a sweater or two, and down a glass of champagne before dashing out to make it to Zac Posen at 8pm.
