In 1998 Rolling Stone had a very small article on the death of the waif models. Both Gisele and Carmen had pics showing indeed that thin was not in. I remember Carmen was quoted saying, "I'm a woman. I have curves." Well I scoured the internet and found the pic of Carmen in the article.

SHe may have had curves earlier in her modeling days, but boy she sure dropped those curves fast and looked really really waifish to me, extremely thin. i loooove that pic with her on the bike, fierce!
