Stefano Gabbana must be FUMING right now, he definitely threw a tantrum as soon as his team informed him that the newest face of their most iconic fragrance is the face of a direct competitor (especially considering how huge and relevant the Herrera perfume business is).

This certainly pales in comparison to the beauty and sensuality of Vittoria’s Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue campaign. This, on the other hand, feels very pedestrian and generic for a brand like Carolina Herrera - associated with total elegance and sophistication. I am getting a sense of youth from this though, which is I’m sure who they’re trying to appeal to…

That shot of Vittoria laughing/smiling should never have been released. Horrific!

CH and Rabanne perfume ads are commercial cliché.

Exactly! I love Vittoria, but I think Imaan Hammam would have been perfect as the face of this fragrance.
