Some very exciting news! According to the Fashist Forum (and another very reliable source).... Carol is switching from Marilyn to IMG!!! I think this could be a GREAT move on her part and really help her cement her status as the top.

I'm hoping that they can inject some life back into her career! She definitely hasn't been as prominent lately as she used to be and I want to see her all over the place. I definitely think they have the resources to manage her career more effectively. A lot of the top girls who are still getting tons of covers, eds, campaigns, and who started around the same time as Carol are with IMG.

Me too! Look at how much work Lily Donaldson, Sasha, and a number of other IMG girls get... Carol should be in the same boat as them! I'm also fairly sure that Carol will be handled by the Vice-President of IMG, so it sounds like she'll be getting a lot of energy focused on her and I doubt she would have made this decision without serious incentive.

I think while Elite and Ford are familiar, prominent names when you talk about agencies, in terms of the work their girls get, agencies like IMG and Women have surpassed them.

I like the move, but at the same time, I kind of feel like Carol not working so much lately and not being everywhere has been her own choice. She chose to take some time off and forgo F/W in its entirety (aside from the YSL exclusive). But maybe signing with IMG means she's ready to get back to work

IMG definately has the biggest amount of topmodels but it doesn't mean that much because they have SO many girls. Anyway, I guess it's better than Marilyn.

I'm happy she is going to IMG, Marilyn hasn't been good for her lately. If she's not working that much anymore, we can't blain only Marilyn, because I also think it was her personal choice, but I think this change means she wants to be everywhere again
