I'm actually surprised she made it to the Icons List, especially because some of the girls from the same era as Carol, like Lily and Jessica, aren't on the list. But I guess she managed to remain relevant in the industry, she has never completely disappeared, we can still see her here and there (H&M, US Vogue...), even if it's much less often than in 2006-07. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to see her there, especially because she's been my favorite since I got interested in fashion, but honestly I don't see her on the same level as Isabeli, Lara, Liya...

^i agree. I was shocked she was included considering that most of the other industry icons are working much much more compared to the work that she does that is mostly just for Brazilian editorials and campaigns

I agree as well. She sure doesn't have to prove her talent in this industry anymore, she's established and everything, but I don't think she's an icon yet. But Caroline is a hard worker, so I'm really glad for her.
