Swedish supermodel Caroline Winberg, 21, went out for a night on the town with her friends in Stockholm, but the evening ended in tears.
- I was forced to urinate infront of three male police offers, she says.
Caroline Winberg is currently one of the most desired models in the world. She's graced the cover of Vogue and has done campaigns for Versace and Dolce & Gabbana.
She was visiting Stockholm and went out Friday night to have fun.
- I was sitting at Sturekompaniet (very hip club downtown!) when a police officer without his uniform came up to me.
Caroline was taken to a room upstairs. There waited two other police officers.
- They told me it looked as if I was on drugs and implied that using drugs is a common thing in my business. I've never been so humiliated my entire life.
Caroline Winberg was forced to leave a urine sample.
- But they wouldn't even let me go to the bathroom myself, they stood beside my the entire time and watched. It was one of the worst things I've ever experienced.
They quickly ran a test -- it came back negative.
- I cried and went straight home. It ruined my entire evening.
She says that she's never going to bring any of her friends from abroad to Stockholm for partying ever again.
- If this is the way they're gonna treat you at clubs, then I don't want to subject my friends to that.
On Monday, Caroline Winberg is going back home to New York. She's not sure when she'll return to Stockholm again, but one thing's for sure;
- I am never going to any bars or clubs in Stockholm ever again.
Jörgen Nilsson (head of some kind commission) says;
- It was obviously not our aim or purpose to embarass anyone. But people who take these kind of tests need to be under some kind of supervision.
About why the police chose to test Caroline Winberg he says:
- There must've been a legitimate suspicion about her being on high drugs. But I can't comment on individual situations like this.
