who knws why they broke up. Obviously it was the right decision for them, we can only ever speculate what goes on in these people's private lives, we'll never know the truth, what happens behind closed doors. So it's best to wish them both best of luck with their respective futures.

I remember reading an interview with Brandon in which he said all relationships he's had with women have always been long distance because of touring with the band and he doesn't see that changing anytime soon. His main committment seems to be to his music. He also said in an interview last year that all Incubus' girlfriends were mad at them for the recent constant touring and not spending enough time with them...so there's a clue into the breakup perhaps? I imagine being a girlfriend of a touring musician is very testing....

She's already divorced from him - Jake Schroeder. Her partner after that, Brandon Boyd, wasn't married to her.
