In the morning I posted on Bridget Hall's thread and I ask where are the fans of classic models? because Bridget thread is so little, today is too mush Gisele to much Daria and Gemma... where are the fans of Bridget, Amber and of course of our beautiful Carolyn^^ , I mean we are hidden, mapi and me (there are others but we are the girls that most post, so don't offend)... well my point is that we don't have to forget the 90' models, speccially the second half ones...

I think we are so enthusiasts - there are other members and regulars of this thread with original material and news contacts and maybe they are waiting for something new to post as well - I would encourage people to post their own scans as some did before because we all come from different countries and hopefully models reach all through catalogs and magazines. I hope to save some money to buy old magazines to see what can I find as well, well most stuff is already posted but it's good to have it as well, it's kind of sad that I don't see any more ads to grab on the EL counter - but I'm glad I could take some!

I would say that models are as fashion, one day you're in and on the next, you're out. When I was a kid the top model was Paulina Poriskova (also a EL face) and she was incredibly pretty (hence the fact that she was in the models of the millenium cover as well) but later got into acting and married so no more work for her. When I was a teen the tops were Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer and then Versace created the supermodel thing and they became celebrities and almost royalty, just some years later Heidi Klum and Giselle Bunchen came out and now Daria and Gemma are the tops on the runway. When I discussed Daria on my livejournal, one of my friends told me that she was kind of a comeback to the real beauties of the 90s because her face was seductive while Gemma is the actual trend of the aliendoll faces that can't even walk on the runway. I'm still a big fan of the models of the 90s is just that they are kind of surreal, I recently purchased a magazine from year 2000 and Shallom Harlow had also a bit of editorial and her beauty was hard to believe, it was just her and the clothes on, nothing else, now you have the guys, the big enviroment, etc.

I also posted a different ad for cyber white 6 days ago, so I obviously not going to be over you because you posted them yesterday as the people who posted the stuff from style won't be over me because I posted the same from firstview. Sure, I dislike photo reposts but at this point since I have posted so many stuff that have been posted last year, I don't have the right to complain....I think that a good excuse could be - oh i like that picture or a bigger resolution of a picture which is more welcome than anything or a photo comparision or any other idea or info, clippings, etc, I think it's all welcome.
