well, we really need a Brandon/Carolyn thread hehe!

VISIONS:Brandon, You like to go out for dinner.Are you vegetarian? Because in your book you can see on a note how to order a vegetarian burger in french.
BRANDON:I'm not , but I dont eat red meat. I eat animals who can fly and animals who can swim. But I can't explain why. Maybe I'm jealous that they can fly and breathe under water(laughs).
VISIONS: And you go out for dinner with your famous girlfriend.
BRANDON:Yes, Carolyn.She is great.
VISIONS:She is Estée Lauder model,right?
BRANDON: She is the Estee Lauder Spokesmodel.
VISIONS: How did you two met?
BRANDON:She came to one of our concerts. I have never thought that i would meet the woman of my dreams at one of our shows.actually she was several of our concerts.and the crew several times tried to convince her to come backstage. but she didn't want to. she is smart. she didn't wanted to be the model that hangs out backsatge with the rockband. but then we played a show at the zenith in paris and she was in town for a photo shoot. the photographers brought her to the zenith and actually brought her backstage. that's where i met her for the first time. a few months later as we were on prom tour for morning view in new york, i met her at a party. we talked at the bar and became friends. after three months we started dating. she surfs .that's the way to my heart(laughs)
VISIONS:But you probably don't see each other very often?
BRANDON :because i spend last year most the time at home, i actually saw her quite often.but in the next time we both have a lot to do and then I don't get to see her as often as i want.
VISION:do you already live together?
BRANDON:Yes, together with her 3 year old daughter in my house. the nice thing is that her and my job are quite similar, so she understands that we not see each other very often.that's important.




and about fashion... I can't wait to see the missoni and versace ads!!!

Q: how do you combine having both children and a career?
CM: every mother has to find some balance between these two. Some day are easier than others.
Q: what’s your favorite role?
CM: I love being a mother, but to be fully confident I also need some creativity in my life. My job is just so much fun, and I view as a kind of creative platform.
Q: you’re wearing a sexy swimsuit in tom ford’s campaign; are u doing lots of sports?
CM: that’s what I did my whole life long, and I’m a passionate swimmer. I just love the sea, the beach. Whenever I have time I go surfing. As a person who loves nature and fresh air, I hate going to gyms. I’d rather go jogging on the beach. And I always take my daughter along.
Q: you know tom ford very well. What makes him so sexy?
CM: I’ve been working with him for 3 years. He is so good looking its almost painful, and you can’t even describe his sex appeal. Also he’s very intelligent knows exactly what he wants. He’s just a great person, and always has some funny stories to share. He’s never arrogant but rather acts like the guy from next door. He loves architecture, fashion, make-up, lots of different stuff. When I did the shooting, he even applied my eye shadow himself.
Q: women supposedly love to undress for him.
CM: (laughing) and they know they can’t have him! that makes him even more interesting. He just respects woman, and they respect him.
Q: you’re on of the most beautiful woman on earth. Are u proud of that?
CM: oh no, that’s not even true. There are other women more beautiful than myself. I feel very honored, but, honestly, I try not to think about it. To me, my grandmother and my mother are the most beautiful. And I adore cate blanchett. She has talent, charisma and class.
Q: your personal icon?
CM: I think Christy turlington is great. She’s beautiful, supported anti-smoking campaigns. And Jackie onassis. She was a woman with style, and did a lot of charity work.
Q: which designer do you prefer?
CM: Oh that’s tough; there is so much talent out there. I love classic pieces. Derek Lam’s someone I just adore.
Q: How do you relax?
CM: as a mother it’s important to take some time out, and even if it’s only just a few mins.
Q: what’s your fav hotel and destination to relax?
CM: I love the Adlon in berlin. It’s beautiful, and I love berlin. I also love to stay in tulum, mexico, but my fav island is Kauai. It’s my dream to own a house there.
Q: you recently moved to Venice beach. How did you adjust yourself there?
CM: everything’s gonna be very modern. I love furniture by george nakashima, and I’m buying a Gucci sofa.
Q: why did u choose Venice beach as new location?
CM: I’ve been living in LA for four years, and I’m a bit restless. I tried to live in santa monica and Malibu, but my heart’s still in new york and its creative places. Venice is a bit like that. I love living among creative people.
Q: is it hard to live as a single person?
CM: yes, definitely is. My mother told my to move to Arizona since it would be much easier there to find normal people (laughs)…
