As for the hate issue, people say "I can't stand her" which isn't the same of "I hate her and I wish her to die" as happens with other models. Most of the critics I have read are about her looks, which might not be of a "supermodel" and probably because she is everywhere, considering that she is still in Estee Lauder and now Missoni and also Versace and was in the cover of Sports Illustrated while other models don't have that much and it's even better as an actress than all the models together (even Milla) so it generates a lot of envy too, so the thing is some are just jealous of her success while others say that isn't her cup of tea but still like what she can do as a model or photographers can do for her, and she isn't a bad person, anyone that has met her has a good impression of her so yeah, remember it's a forum, all tends to be too biased at times.

^Absolutely GORGEOUS photos of Carolyn!
Believe me, I know exactly what you're talking about. Some of the "hate" behavior is so outrageous with some individuals here at tFS that I began to wonder about some of the "haters" motivations and personalities along with their maturity levels. There's something very wrong and disturbing when an individual posts negativity over and over again towards certain models -- and that goes for whether it's for the older or the younger models...any model.
I recently got some advice from an online acquaintance here at tFS in regards to this behavior and came to some conclusions: This is the internet and most of the older models' fans don't post here at tFS. So we're never going to see a lot of support for the older models. The advice that I'm going to practice and pass on to you: IGNORE the comments and continue CELEBRATING Carolyn.
Carolyn is beautiful and an incredible talent with undeniable presence. Perhaps her huge contribution to the world of fashion doesn't quite get the recognition here at tFS that it deserves but this obviously DOES NOT reflect on the general fashion world's perception. And it's certainly not Estee Lauder's perception.

Sigh. Carolyn embodies all that a supermodel should be about : Versatility. Apart from Linda E, I don't know of any other model who can pull off so many hair cuts, styles, colours. Therein lies Carolyn's power as a model.

Yeah, definitely ignore all bad comments. I think that many come from innacurate or prejudices. Hopefully Carolyn doesn't have anything wrong in her personality.
BTW, now that the WorldCup is over, I will have some time to update the list of photos, I just got another idea to don't write them all descriptions.
