I am looking for a cute, oversized handbag.
that I could use for a carry-on.

it's not designer,
but i got a yellow one from lululemon that works really well,
it's big and has quite a few pockets which is handy. its too bad i don't have a picture though.

am not sure but the pic you posted is balenciaga-like, if not the real thing. again am not sure as i'm not that knowledgeable where balenciagas are concered

It's the Balenciaga Voyage (Im assuming Voyage) from S/S 05 thats when the they did the two-toned canvas and leather combonation. It looks really freakish there, maybe it's Lindsay.

If money was no object: Mulberry, the one that looks like bayswater, but is a lot bigger. I saw it in person and it was super gorgeous

i am very picky lol, esp. if i will be spending $500-1500 on it.

I have another suggestion for you... how about the Escada Travel Bag? It folds up nicely when not in use...

^thats what I was going to suggest, Pradaromance. I think if that is the style you are going for, you might as well get that one. Last time I was in Barney's they had it, but Voyages are never hard to track down so you could pretty much be garunteed to find it in whatever color/combo you wanted.

Ok. If I were in the market for a $1500 travel bag Id get the LV Suhali L'Extravagant. It's sooo pointlessly glamorous and soo excessive.

It also depends on how much you are careful with it - TUMIs are great because they are simple, elegant, and can definitely take a beating and last forever...

see, the thing is i dont have a barneys or any other 'high class' store even remotely near where I live, so it'd be impossible for me to find that exact bal. bag.
that is why i was looking for something i could purchase over the internet.

i did however just purchase a nice puma bag on ebay,
although i would still love to find something similar in SIZE as that one.
