I'm intending to get the 'love' charm on teal string next week. Does anyone own one? What are your opinions on them too.

The reason I want it is just because I love wearing bangles with a few stringed pieces too (if that makes sense) I didn't even know it was Cartier when I first saw it, so it's not a 'label' thing. I like that £100 goes to charity too.

350, I think.

I love the idea, I dont like the execution, or else Id own one. I would get the red one b/c I love red and it happens to be for AIDs.

They are £305 in the UK, and $470 ( think I read) US.

I'd most like to contribute to UNICEF but dislike the colour (which is juvinille I know, perphaps I can grow to like it).

Rosario Dawson: Youth AIDS, Red Bracelet
Salma Hayek: The Salma Hayek Foundation, White Bracelet
Scarlett Johansson: USA Harvest, Baby Pink Bracelet
Spike Lee: Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, Purple Bracelet
Edward Norton: Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, Green Bracelet
Sarah Jessica Parker: UNICEF, Blue Bracelet
Michael Stipe: Mercy Corps / Gulf Coast Recovery, Black Bracelet
Liv Tyler: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Deep Pink Bracelet

I think they are $475 in the US. I'm not sure what color I like yet...maybe the pink one.

For some reason I'm drawn to the brown, it would go with a lot of the things I've picked up for fall :) Great idea!

Great idea but I don't know I think they come off polished enough for my taste.

Agreed, they look like those rubber bracelets all the emo kids run around with.

Id gift it though :flower:

When I bought mine, they let me switch the band color and donate the money to whatever charity I wanted, not necessarily the one that corresponded. I did baby blue and Youth Aids; they give you a couple extra bands for free, too. :)

I bought the white but it got dirty so easily so I brought it back to Cartier and got it changed to black. No charge. :p Yup its 475 USD.

For $475, this is amazingly ugly. I wouldn't even buy it for $2. It looks like someone tied a string around your wrist.

the bracelets are a good concept but they're not worth 475....when i was lil, i used those exact same strings for art class...they only cost like around a dollar for a yard or so

No the braclets arn't worth much at all...the gold or whatever charm you get is. I ended up with the purple bracelet, but requested for the money to be donated to UNICEF as intended. I am very happy with it, and I really think it looks nice on the wrist. Like now, I wear it with a few enamel bangels, an old charm braclet and a leather grey twisted one, and it looks pretty darn nifty.
