i remember watching Aus. top model thinking she was the dumbest girl ever

i remember this one episode where they had her shooting on a trampoline and the photographer kept saying 'point your feet, point your feet' over and over and over for like 10 minutes and she didn't even do it once, meanwhile her expression and body remained the same

and when she didnt win i was like YES!!!! but then she somehow got an offer from elite ny and she said 'no because of the off-chance that they might tell me to lose weight'

Cassi heads to Paris Fashion Week

Are you ready for the next instalment of the Cassi van den Dungen rollercoaster? Paris. Yep. Frockwriter hinted that there was potentially some exciting news surrounding a brand new Australian face at the FW1011 shows and this is it (well, part of...). After being crowned runnerup in Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 5, snubbing contracts with Priscillas and Elite New York, giving up modelling, signing with Tanya Powell, then Work Agency, getting slagged off by ANTM hosts Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry on Facebook, then talked up by influential model scouting site The Ones To Watch, van den Dungen is packing her bags for her first ever trip to the City of Light. She has been placed with IMG's Paris Development board and will be chaperoned by Work Agency booker Sash Andreevski. So much for not wanting to work outside Australia. According to Work Agency director Helena Vitolins, "She's focussed, she's definitely ready, her head's in a really great space. She wants it all."

I do hope she will be walking some shows. Her look is amazing, but her walk not so much (unless it has improved since the competition). That's the only problem that could affect her booking shows

Dearie, a busted runway walk is the least of issues to actually booking runway. Take Suvi Koponen for example. And that being said, Cassi's walk was perfectly fine at the finale.

YAY! Way to go Cassi! I always knew this girl was a supermodel in the making and now she can finally go out and prove it! And OMG at IMG Paris! She's ready!

I know that some people..actually a lot of people think that Cassi made a very stupid choice including AusTNM judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson, in not signing up with Elite and everything when she was offered such an amazing offer a lot of aspiring models would happily exchange places with her for in a heartbeat. Also that her intentions for entering the competition were not what the money was for, and that her behaviour wasn't exactly stellar on the show, but I still want to stand by her when she says that she didn't want to model overseas then. She was sixteen! I know a lot of models like Monica Jagaciak is the same age round about and she's doing a wonderful job in the industry right now, but if Cassi wasn't going to have her heart in modelling, then there was really no point, right?
I'm not saying that her boyfriend is the made out of the most shining material and gets a green tick (far from), I still don't think he's a good influence on her, on top of all the other stuff I've read about her upbrining, but Now that we do see her wanting to model and expanding outside Australia, good for her! It shows that she's ready, and she's thought about it, instead of being pushed all over the place.

You know, I watched NTM and she irked me so much purely because of her attitude. I was like wake up girl, here's your chance... !!!

Hopefully she has seen the light. It probably wasnt a bad idea to wait it out for a year before having a real go. She seemed very immature and young on the show.
