Cassi said in an interview she wants to wait till brad gets more settled in his job to move to NY. Not sure which interview, but yeah. Hopefully someone can pursuade her to follow her dream first. She won't be young forever!

Australia's Next Top Model runner-up and self-confessed bogan Cassi Van Den Dungen has been offered a modelling contract with top New York agency Elite Model Management.


The 17-year-old, who finished second to Tahnee Atkinson in the reality television show, was yesterday being chased by the agency responsible for the careers of models such as Naomi Campbell and Aussie Kristy Hinze, the Daily Telegraph reports.



Sydney modelling agent Priscilla Leighton-Clark, a judge on ANTM, told the newspaper Elite were "obsessed" with the Melbourne teenager.
"If she makes the decision to do this, this could change her life," Leighton-Clark said.
The agency is reportedly keen to see Van Den Dungen in New York for Fashion Week this September.
Van Den Dungen has been the most talked about of the ANTM after her "bogan" lifestyle was revealed throughout the course of the reality show.
She admitted that she started smoking as a 10-year-old and had been trying to "cut down", as well as revealing she is engaged to marry 25-year-old bricklayer Brad Saul.
"Brad has just started his career down here and I want to wait until we a both ready if we are going to go overseas," Van Den Dungen told the Telegraph.
"I want to have a bit of money backed up behind us so we can get a house or something but setting up the bricklaying business is our priority."

The boyfriend thing worries me too. I hate to pass judgement on other people's relationships as we never really know what is going on but the fact that he is so much older... I can't help but think that maybe he controls her in a way and calls all the shots. If he wants to hold onto her then the last thing he'd want would be for her to move away and become hugely independently successful and getting approval from everyone. Of course he might just be as smitten with her as everyone in this thread and also want what is best for her.

Time will tell. I hope she doesn't throw the chance away.

Australia’s Next Top Model verdict: Cassi v Tahnee

TAHNEE ATKINSON’S win during the fifth season of Australia’s Next Top Model last night is a great victory for sexy, curvaceous women around the nation. Even after the announcement I was still convinced Atkinson’s fellow finalist Cassi Van Den Dungen, 17, deserved the title, until I saw her backstage.
Not only was her nearly 10 years her senior boyfriend making inappropriate gestures and remarks, Van Den Dungen can’t be discredited for not sticking to her classic bogan style. Totally disinterested in the festivities that were going on around her and begrudgingly undertaking media interviews, she was heard shrieking “Is this all done yet? I’ve got to get out of this f…king tight dress”. Nice. Even through all the controversies - anger management, being engaged to an older man, calling her hometown a ghetto and her chain-smoking ways, I’ve stood by Van Den Dungen and enjoyed my straight-shooting interviews with her. However, in a split second, with Atkinson standing not far away, Van Den Dungen lost my vote. The girls, who are around the same age, are worlds apart in their maturity and work ethic. Charlotte Dawson hit the nail on the head when she surprised fans with her vote for Atkinson. Her reason? The judge feared Van Den Dungen would return to Sunbury Victoria with her bricklaying boyfriend and waste the prize away.
Meanwhile, between Lola Van Vorst, 21, and Mikarla Hussey, 19, hitting the Sydney party circuit hard and not fronting for a booked runway shoot on Mornings With Kerri-Anne and Atkinson walking around in a daze at the program’s after party last night, Australia’s Top Model continues to make headlines.
