Cassi Van Den Dungen

Does Tahnee have a thread? I searched but nothing

She sounds like she is with a decent model agency in Sydney...yeah probably not a big loss she didn't sign with priscillas...

I love her, she could SO easily be huge internationally. I also love that she's crazy, the Van den Dungens need to step in and FORCE her to go to sign with an international agency, she's perfect for Gucci, Versace and Dolce and Gabbana! She's so much more impressive and memorable than half the girls that debuted in F/W09.

thanks :flower:
i'm actually glad that she did not accept priscilla's even though she obviously wanted to go to sydney, it would be stupid if she became one of these antm girls who went to priscilla's [half the 4th cycle and i have a feeling most of the 5th cycle girls will sign with priscilla ]
I definitely agree with you on that one. It's good that she gets with an agency like Work, which as the person said is "total management" and they don't represent people who don't work, as it will help her learn to model. Sure, Priscilla's would have springboarded her to international agencies but for someone like Cassi, it would be the worst thing for her to do. Fill the book, get experience working, and then hit the international scene with a vengeance. It also helps that she's grown up, with the reports of her being a pleasure to work with.

I too hope to see her at RAFW!

Well if we don't see her at Rosemont Sydney Fashion Festival, which is August 17-22, there's always Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, which is September 1-6.

I just fell in love with Cassi. I seriously think it's a shame if she's just gonna be stuck in Australia. She could go a loong way. I'ts killing me, and I realllyyyy would hate her just get forgotten like every single other one on those shows. She really had something. Like Anya in ANTM cycle 10, who only lost to Whitney because they wanted to be fair to the world. ****heads. This face can not be wasted away! I need more Cassi! :-(

Cassi Van Den Dungen's agent is threatening to sue Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson in the aftermath of the Australia's Next Top Model fallout, according to reports.

Work:Agency principal Helena Vitolins told the Sunday Telegraph the fearsome fashion duo had been attacking her teen client's reputation in the weeks and months following the sensational finale to the reality TV show.

"Cassi is a minor: she is only 17 and she should not have to put up with her reputation being destroyed,'' Vitolins was quoted as saying.

Van Den Dungen had done some work for the Melbourne-based agency, which represents various industry workers as well as a small stable of 14 models, before entering ANTM.

The so-called 'boganista' has since secured a deal with Portmans through the association.

But it was her decision to turn down offers from big-time agencies — Priscilla's in Sydney and Elite in New York — in favour of staying in Australia with her 25-year-old fiance Brad Saul that inflamed ANTM's most high-profile judges.

"We supported Cassi, we believe she has huge supermodel potential (but) despite all the support she had been given, she virtually turned her back on us," Dawson told the fashion website frockwriter.com.

Perry, who is currently holidaying in Greece, recently posted on his Facebook site that "we're talking about a girl with low intelligence, going out with a man 10 years older, of a similar IQ ... the combination is powerfully stupid".

Well I agree with her agent, it is harsh for public figures like them to put her on blast. repeatedly.

She did nothing at all to them. Just because she did not want to sign with Elite does not do anything to them. They are in their what, 40s and 50s? And they talk crap about a 17 year old kid? It was not only uncalled for, but immature.

I have to side with the agents-Alex and Charlotte's comments were uncalled for. Cassi is a minor! Sure, they may not have liked what she did by turning down the bigger agencies, but somebody like Cassi needs a smaller agency that can devote more time to getting her prepared for the big-time. She also wants to get married, get Brad's business up, and so forth. I think it's good that she wants to tie a few ends up before going international.
