here's a small article on her from my local paper. it doesn't say anything new but anyway

this is just one of those stories where we want to give a Brisbanite a huge, unashamedly big plug. local beauty catherine mcneill - ok, she likes to call herself cat - has made quite an impression overseas and was a couple of days ago featured in the fashion liftout of the new york times. the dally's model, who was raised in out suburban cornubia - that's out mount cotton-tanah merah way- is, according to the nyt, everything a photographer or designer could wish for: "photographer mario testino was so struck by her pillowed lips, her amazonian legs, her sultry adult face so radically unlike the whittled marionette blanks that have held sway for the past couple years". she's in high demand, and we're tipping the local fashion industry will be doing their best to bring her back to model - while she is still affordable
