Catherine McNeil

Was just going through some of my fashion folders and saw her face. I miss seeing her on the runway and in editorials. Stunning face.

Models.com are always wrong about a lot of things so it doesn't mean anything.

As much as Next has done for her since her debut...it is well past time for a complete reboot of her career (clearly) and maybe Paul Rowland @Ford is the man to do it. It worked for Karmen P, so who knows. I'll believe when I start to see edits drop. C'mon McNeil 2.0!!!

^ Hmmm...mysterious as always. Does anyone know if her current twitter account is real? I know @Thanatos has said no in the past but still curious? If so, she may have been in Turkey. Probs too much to hope she was shooting something there. Im grasping at straws here.

I too wish for a Cat reboot this year but being realistic, I question whether it will happen.

A change in agent makes very little difference if there is not a change in attitude. Karmen P wanted it really badly, and her drive, plus a good agent, has gotten her Gucci, Michael Kors, Gap etc.

^ You are correct, but I cant help thinking what a smashing Gucci girl Cat would make too. Sadly, no amount of fanboy gushing makes a lick of difference if the girl isnt hungry for it herself. Breaks my McNeil loving heart.

It's confirmed that she's no longer with Next...

Catherine McNeil might still be listed as the world number 24 on models.com’s Top 50 Women list, but we have not seen much work from her of late. In fact a Vogue Australia cover in February this year, her fifth Vogue Australia cover, appears to be the highlight of her 2011 portfolio so far – after a stellar 2010 that saw McNeil book, among many other jobs, four advertising campaigns: Givenchy Fall/Winter 2010 ready to wear and Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera and Lanca fragrances. And all of this in spite of the fact that she had skipped several international show seasons. But there has been some movement on McNeil’s models.com profile. Her New York agency is now listed as Ford, as opposed to Next Model Management, which is the agency that launched McNeil's international career in 2006. Although models.com still has McNeil listed with Next’s affiliate agencies in London, Milan and Paris, Stephen Lee, McNeil’s former agent at Next, told frockwriter that, as of yesterday, Next no longer represented McNeil in any market. “We wish Catherine all the best for the future both personally and professionally” is all tight-lipped Lee would say. So, did she jump or was she pushed?

wow I wonder what went down. I don't know if this is a good thing or not.

The McNeil mystery train continues to roll on out, where it will stop next nobody knows. One of the most beautiful but enigmatic faces in the biz. No lack of surprises with Catherine. Perplexed..intrigued. Maybe Paul Rowland can sort it all out? Have a feeling that Cat wants to reinvent herself as an edgy Ford girl as opposed to the glamazon image Next helped her create?? :|

She's probably just made enough money and is now calling it quits. RIP Cat's career.

Dont know whether to feel happy/sad/excited over this latest development? No way to say until we see some new pics/polaroids/eds, if ever?? At least its some news...

^I'd keep going until there was no demand left, but she probably has some other plan for what to do with her life so good on her?

Im sure there's no love lost between Next/Ford. Feel kinda bad for Stephen Lee considering he developed her whole international career from the start.
