EIC Vogue Australia, Kirstie Clements: Off to Pucci now. Can't wait. Wonder if Catherine McNeil will walk? I'm wearing new sequined Giorgio Armani flat evening shoe, bliss.
Yeah, I have no idea what happened. Pucci clothes is revealing with high slits and cutouts and this collection was no exception...tattoo fail...
Maybe she'll do better in Paris!
Maybe she's in Milan and went to the casting and Kirstie thought she could book it. She should start lasering that tarantula off her foot now if if you ask me.
glad to have her presence in runways again. That showcard is way too bad. I know they arent similar, but she kinda reminds me of Jo Calderone.. Lady gaga's alter ego
So lovely to see her with Abbey again backstage! Just like old times. I think when Abbey really got going Cat was still the big star? Funny how things change..
They may not be the sole reason, but I think the tattoos are certainly part of the problem.
They are so big and distracting, the one on the foot is always visible, the giant rose and the big letters on her back are a problem too in a revealing dress.
The tattoos just seem so random, they don't have a concept, overarching theme or style (like Freja's for example).
^She has a lady bug, the flower and what looks like an insect on her foot so I suppose you could say it's a nature theme she's going for now? I have a feeling many people would be put off by them when she goes to a casting regardless of whether or not they would show on the runway. They don't give the impression of a fresh and clean model who cares about her career.
I would have thought some designers would have shown a bit of loyalty but she's been rejected by brands she once faced fragrance campaigns for. I don't know maybe it's a combination of the tattoos, a bad reputation and the fickleness of the industry but it's such a shame because her face is breathtaking.
