Catherine McNeil

^Perhaps beginner in the top international scene, but I still think she's done better work in Russh than that :o

Maybe it's not her fault-- she's being thrown into some big situations without much experience-- but that editorial was incredibly dull. Why not save a Vogue Paris editorial for someone who can do something with it?

I actually really like that Vogue editorial, its one of my favorites of hers actually, I wasnt that crazy about the cover but love the ed, great styling!

^i kinda like it too

yea..shes not really doing a lot wehn it comes to variety in that editorial, but what else can you really do when basically every scene for the shots is the same??

Boring editorials so far..but i dont really know if thats her fault?
Same expressions, etc im starting to dislike her more an more, all this fricken hype...I cant tell if it will work for her or against her..
Eh, time will tell.

I like the editorial, it's something new, and it suits Catherine really well.

hmmm perhaps it was the creative directors fault... because she was given a microphone to hold in like 5 photographs. I mean... how many faces can you actually do with a mic in your hand?! Anyway, I like it :)

I really like the new editorial. I can undertand why people are saying she has the same expression in all pics. But I think the expression really suits the mood of the editorial. I love the clolours, the microphone still seems a little pointless to me though.

i dont like the edit, but i hope she steps it up before she is thrown out...

she only has a 6 month contract and once that is over and no one picks her up, she could just fade away...

She looks good full stop BUT what a bad theme to an editorial? I don't think that there was much that she could do with it considering reporters aren't expected to be more than a boring person holding a microphone. The person being interviewed is usually the more outgoing one. Not sure if I'm happy with you Mario!!

yeh she still looks amazing, but it is kind of boring, i like the colours though and there is something interesting about them

Well maybe she was meant to have only ONE expression.. you know after all shes palying someone that only ever has one expression.. maybe its jsut the theme of this ed

^Perhaps beginner in the top international scene, but I still think she's done better work in Russh than that :o

exactly. she's a far better model than what the new french vogue editorial showcases. i think it's simply a case of the directing and the styling being uninspired...

She's a beginner, give her some time.

a beginner with already 80p. in tfs???!!!!
in Vogue Paris, they say she may have an exclusivity with Testino... she likes him a lot and he's teaching her a lot of things... blablabla... well he gave her her chance...
for the theme of her editorial in VogueParis maybe it's linked to the Cannes Festival... or not... but the styling is, imo, really bad, actually... I still cannot understand all those textures&colours mixing... some are good, but some tries are really really bad! a big part of my disappointment is all this use of orange, I hate orange...
and too I don't like the "hey here are the FW08 big hits and trends, do what you want with it!"
Catherine looks exactly like one of a friend's sister in brunette so I think she's ok!
