^ What happened to her legs? She had the most perfect legs on earth at one time!! :o

^She doesn't look horrid.
She has gone thru a lot this past summer.
I think she is holding up pretty well.

Catherine paid tribute to her husband as she welcomed the Ryder Cup teams to Wales, with singer Katherine Jenkins, and then joined by Shirley Bassey, making it three gorgeous Welsh women in the same room (dailymail.co.uk):

^She looks great there - and it looks like she is having a reallly good time.
Good for her!

I'm amazed at how well she and Michael are handling all of this...a real couple to admire!! :flower:

Beautiful Catherine. I always adore her this way. And red was always the best color for her, remember the red Versace dress at the Oscars, that was a Hit.

she looks great i think she is a very strong woman considering what her family is going through .her light is still shinning through.she is a true beauty.

Here's a larger close-up shot of her from the event, and meeting Prince Charles (dailymail.co.uk):

Catherine Zeta-Jones has turned down several movie roles, including the chance to portray Vivien Leigh, so she can spend more time with husband Michael Douglas, who is being treated for throat cancer.

The Oscar-winning actress had been approached about playing the vivacious second wife of Laurence Olivier in a film about Olivier making The Prince And The Showgirl with Marilyn Monroe at Pinewood studios in 1956.

Catherine was approached by executives at Weinstein Co, the studio producing the picture with David Parfitt, to take the Vivien Leigh part. While it’s not the weightiest of roles, it does have four or five crucial scenes, plus *Vivien’s the second-most glamorous character in the movie — after Marilyn.

There’s a poignant moment in the film when Vivien realises she’s 43 and Marilyn’s barely 30 and that not everyone still has eyes for the woman who dominated Gone With The Wind.

Catherine, however, felt she didn’t want to be away from her husband for the week, or more, she would need to *prepare for and film her scenes. She didn’t mind being away for up to 48 hours — as she was this week, for the Ryder’s Cup launch in Wales — but any longer would make her worry.

The oufit would have been great without the pants. I mean, they are nowhere to fit her! I miss when she actually tried to dress well.
