Cecil Beaton - Photographer

this morning i discovered (and bought) an old issue of "vogue" (may 15, 1941 to be exact) and i just found that one of the editorials - "for the first time london designs for south america" - was shot by beaton! the pictures are not a amazing as the ones you all have posted, but i thought i'd share anyway

thanks a lot, it's always a BIG pleasure to find new pictures of beaton. With Blumenfeld, it was one of my favorite fashion photographer for 1930-1940. I will post soon others scans.

I can't remember the issue, but Br. Vogue has an article on Cecil Beaton in 2001 or 2002 if I remeber correctly..

I adore the picture of the debutants in charles james dresses from 1948
