i usually find myself lusting over the decadent, OTT apartments in this thread, i am not as much of a 'big beach house' type. but i love courtney cox's house. its grey but not too stark and sterile. and the cool paintings and random cool bits of art/furniture make it anything but boring!

I think if they didn't decorated it so much IN-YOUR-RICH-FACE, then it would be bareable. But more than 5 patterns in a single room is overwhelming. Even dollars are more minimal.

Some people can have really massive and ornate homes while still maintaining a livable and classic feel (see: many of the homes features in Architectural Digest). The Trump's home is so indulgent it borders on.... actually, I've no reason to be polite, it totally crosses the border into bad taste. It's so..... unlivable. Who does he think he is, Louis XIV?
