Celine Menswear S/S 2024 Paris

Looks like there's a new fragrance called "Cologne Celeste" which is much more dilute than the rest of the collection, meant for a bathing ritual lol. Even tho the rest are pretty dilute themselves it seems. Still wanna try it

after carefully reviewing and digesting the collection. I can say its Hedis absolute best at Celine. The inspiration is so dead on and interpreted in so many sophisiticated clever ways. Each piece is bursting with period-correct art deco details.

Really disappointing and uninspired collection. I also recently noticed Celine constructions are significantly below par and the materials are middling at best.

What? Celine is very high quality. Huh? I mean the best made menswear is McQueen Kiton and Brioni. Behind that you have Celine TF Dior LV. Id def place Celine well above Gucci who has barely El Cortes Ingles level qualify.

I admit LVMH has a strange relationship with Poplin and between LV Dior Celine Ive never felt like their poplin shirts were as nice as Zegnas for example.

Brioni is another league. Celine high quality? It is completely over priced and not only on menswear: I've seen many non outlet bags with unbelievable awful stitching or rivets coming off very easy at least for the last 8 years. Plus customer service and QC really are awful. If Gucci is El Corte Ingles then Celine is Shein in my personal quality ranking.
.

So if someone think Celine has a worse quality price ratio than Gucci it is automatically a Gucci intern.
What about just accepting someone has different opinion than yours instead of being passive aggressive?
You can have your wrong opinion. I dont care.

I have to say that I am not an expert on Gucci menswear, but Celine Womenswear made is excellent and compared to Gucci
The menswear too, I dislike the style but the quality is top notch, better than some Hermès and YSL menswear... They are really perfectionnist in that house. A waste of perfectionnism imho.

That’s why I personally go to Hedi and love what he does… his house is where you find the perfect versions of basics. What he does is not a design exercise. But staples much-refined is a legitimate kind of luxury.

What is not luxurious is the amount of CELINE branding and that chunky TRIOMPHE logo everywhere. I refuse a lot of pieces because of that.

Fair. I just pretend those merchandise don’t exist honestly, and some well-crafted items were definitely ruined.

The whole CELINE logotype stamped largely on anything never looked right to me like they were never supposed to be there.

I've once seen a man IRL wearing sweatpants with the CELINE logo plastered across his crotch. The design was so f*cked-up, that I convinced myself that it was a fake, until you actually prompted me to look it up.

lol I wrote my comment above before seeing this. but perfect example

this branded stuff is really for the Celine customer. Think logically. If Im a Billionaire - I dont shop at multiple stores. Only brokies are comparing products.

So - Im a billionaire. I need clothes that arent Wool slacks and a Silk blouson. For when Im flyijg 18 hours from Dubai to Sydney. Im already at Celine - $500 for sweatpants is peanuts to me. Why wouldnt I buy them ? this billionaire client needs travel and easy clothes….

The victims buy it because its entry level. Its really for the Billionaire customer - preventing them from going to Nike or Lululemon or whatever….

Like thats how you can tell the entry level from the wealthy. Wealthy wear celine t shirts to go sweat in. Entry level wear celine t shirts on the red carpet.

Yes that sequinned turtle neck would have been a must have if it didnt have CELINE on it. A silver turtleneck screams Hedi …
