Celine S/S 2026 Paris

The last look I kinda like but overall it feels very styled rather than designed and the too-short dresses are such a random thing in the context of the show, they are begging to be made into tops and paired with pleated pants. Certain pieces are ok like the black military jacket but this is a collection that doesn’t speak to me.

I could envision a campaign with someone like Hawkesworth to really sell this Éric Rohmer bourgeois Sunday stroll at the park thing that I’m seeing.

It's chic.
Chu's look is tight with just the right amount of fashion. Mona's look is sexy and the one next to it too. Trench with colorful lining is a great idea for Hermes. Penelope Ternes = fresh iteration on how to de-dame the ol' cape, bring the 'dame downtown.
I see his geek value now. He has cool ideas and isn't dramatic about them. A sensitivity in terms of portion. All these looks can walk out of the venue, straight onto the street and not resemble a "fashionista" which is a plus.
Too breezy for fashion historians or fashion hysterics though.

Disjointed brand expresion checklist:

and yet she manages to look better than anyone in new Chanel or Dior! Oh the humanity!
