I´ve seen the red dress it´s spectacular, but much better in (black) poplin than red jersey, though. You can unzip it slightly and than it has a loose volume in the back, that´s a pretty cool feature.

Do you recall how much it costs Tricot?

pretty but pricey...
the clothes have little or no hanger appeal and the proportions don't work on everyone...
but i do like this better than his main collection this season...

Do you recall how much it costs Tricot?

roughly 350 - 400 € If I remember correctly, but I am not sure, it´s been a long time again since I saw all this in person. This dress I found was very Balenciaga-ish. Hussein´s commercial assistant was wearing this and I went to her and said "oh, this is a lovely dress, is it Balenciaga?" and she said "no, it´s h.chalayan" ... only proves that this collection is indeed substantial and nicely thought-out. I think it´s actually one of the best diffusion liones on the market as it does have it´s very own concepts.

The prices were quite reasonable when I saw them in Selfridges. I too love that red dress and the white jacket...they will be mine...oh yes oh yes.

I think the dress was 180 quid.

o/t: i saw patrik ervell SS06 look-book the other day and what came across my mind was hussein chalayan (positively). i'd say that he's pretty much under the influence, working in the same vein as chalayan.
