Lola701 - I want to know your thoughts on Chanel's RTV quality (especially the tweed jackets). I went to try on a classic jacket (black, braid, chain, two pockets). They quoted me $8900. It's Made in France but I'm like is it really worth it?

I know BV under Mathieu is very well made but not sure if he can carry that high standards to Chanel for the future collections.

I have no complains about the quality of Chanel RTW when it comes to tweed and knitwear. It’s Chanel, it’s the price so it’s worth it if you are willing to pay.

However, if you care about the cachet of the designer attached to the creation, wait for Blazy’s debut. Maybe you will see a to die for option that will suit what you want.

veeeeery late to the party but i just watched the show and i actually weirdly enough loved the massive pearls and bags. especially the big envelopes. the studio did a more or less a good job. rtw is messy af but we know itll sell like hot pies anyways lol
