To be fair, if I recall correctly it was a very high quality Japanese technical polyester...

The sustainability movement has this weird luxury belief with natural fabrics. Unfortunately, lots of them seem to conveniently forget that most natural fibers outside of cotton and linen are quite high maintenance for the average consumer.
