Yassss @ Chanel working it for DSquared2. Ughh....what kills me about Chanel is that she is a very hardworker.....she hustles....and for the most part she goes unrecognized by the BIG fashion people....she has put in soooo much work....she should be @ the level of Karlie Kloss etc. It just sucks that none of the heavy hitters in fashion have taken notice of her....But I see Chanel's plan.....she saw the other girls trying to come for her....and she went the VS route....she made herself her own little niche (Commercial and High Fashion)...NONE of these other chicks are seeing Chanel, no matter how many shows/campaigns they book....Chanel has been embraced by mainstream audience as well as the HF audience....She is getting her name out there....and mark my words....ONE DAY....Chanel will be on the FORBES list.....girl HUSTLES like there is no tomorow...she is a trooper and knows how to roll with the Punches! Nothing stands in her way!

She really does push for it, you can tell she wants it and she's smart knowing how to go for exactly what she wants in this industry. Granted some other models might be all over the place walking a million shows and booking campaigns but she has something they don't - the claim of being a household name. People know who she is in both the HF and commercial worlds and is still honestly consistent in both of them. I'd say she better work but you know she is!

Chanel definitely has that X factor....I can't really put my finger on it.....I tried getting into the other girls....but I cant....I always end up picking them apart ( one looks like a granny, one walks weird/weird skinny ankles, one is just a MESS trying to have her mom come for Miss Iman on Twitter, one used to have a death stare, One girl when she laughs she has gaps in the back of her teethinnocent:....point iss......no matter what happens....I always end up back on this thread!

Oh you're a MESS for that! True though no matter what I do find myself only really keeping up with her regularly as no one else really interests me. On and off someone will pop on my radar but it never lasts.

I think she's better off doing the VS event in New York than walking Paris...i believe she's only guaranteed 1 show (Dior) and there's no point, really. She doesn't need it. But it's great, though...that she seems to be only doing shows on designer's request these past few seasons rather than going through casting directors/castings.

That's great that Chanel is faithful to both VS and her high fashion connections. Fingers crossed for Balenciaga and YSL! I wanna see her walk there again, she's made for YSL...

Wish I could go see her in NY but whatever, I'm excited for Paris. She can still make Balenciaga on thursday right? I want her back at YSL as well as Givenchy!

Dead @ me being shady towards those girl....I cant!...Im sorry I just can't help but feel favoritism towards my girl Chanel....I have been with her ever since she had that curly-afro hair! I feel some sort of attachment
