Now yall know i love my baby Chanel.....but at this point, ive pretty much thrown in the towell...it was cute while it lasted....i was a stan...but u cant really stan for something/some one who is not there....Where all the eds/ covers/ads.....girl bye! Are you saying that for things to pop up or are you actually giving up. Keep in mind we've got Wonderland on deck and a couple of other mystery shoots that have happened that we don't know what they're for. She's obviously happy where she is, and comfortable. I know you guys are more excited about all the HF stuff, but seeing her come this far considering she was never that big of a campaign girl and still managed to make a decent and relevant name for herself (and some major $$ from what I'm hearing) then we should just be happy she didn't cash out and move to a farm somewhere

I don't think she's lost her hunger/passion.. it's more like she's been working steadily for YRS 7 she's done almost everything worth doing so she's slowing down a bit to enjoy her (youth, career, financial, lovelife, friends & family) success!! I KNOW it's not the last time we're seeing her.. our girl is gonna be around for a while!!

Oh god, I feel like I post this every 3 months, but you need to understand that Chanel is probably making more money now than ever before in her modelling career. She's got a steady, very LUCRATIVE, gig with Victoria's Secret that most models would kill for, and although it's probably not ~chic enough~ for you, it probably makes no difference to her. Modeling is about making money, not pleasing stans.

Oh god, I feel like I post this every 3 months, but you need to understand that Chanel is probably making more money now than ever before in her modelling career. She's got a steady, very LUCRATIVE, gig with Victoria's Secret that most models would kill for, and although it's probably not ~chic enough~ for you, it probably makes no difference to her. Modeling is about making money, not pleasing stans.

Words out of my mouth. She don't give a damn about what we want, it isn't paying her bills. But to want her to do things that WON'T pay her bills just for the sake of being *chic* as you say, really always has me confused. People say she fell off, from what - being broke? She's doing commercial stuff now and while it isn't building that swanky high fashion portfolio people are wishing for she isn't shaking the hell out of her piggy bank to keep the lights on. Not even mad at homegirl.

As long as Chanel Iman is still modeling, I am happy. It's hard to stay on top of the HF world; there are new It girls every season, we cannot expect the editors/photographers to be loyal to one model forever. Let's just be thankful that Chanel has VS to keep her afloat.
