I talked the $16,000 Chopard watch I wanted down to $10,166 by shopping around. (still havent bought it though)

Thanks a lot candicec, it sure did! I just bought one today at Tourneau!!!!! I got the white 33mm and they knocked off a few hundred bucks!!!! I really wasn't expecting that big of a discount too, yay for Tourneau! :) I'm going to get a black one with diamonds next time. I will post pics of the new watch later.
 
I forgot to mention that the salesperson told me that the price of the j12 will go up sometime in April.
 
I bought the J12 yesterday!!! The prices are going up today so I am very happy!! Hopes to post the pictures when I have time organzing my stuff!! Weeee!
 
congrats for both jsmith and augustus! augustus, what color and size did you get?
 
I got the diamond marker because I am not a HUGE fan of diamonds all over the place and yet, the markers do shine!!! I think mine is the smallest...but I am not too sure. I will ask when I go to Chanel again tomorrow.

I just got the Techno I really want the diamond Chanel BUT THIS year I spent WAY TOO MUCH on Chanel LOL...I will get the black CHANEL next week without diamonds....

Congrats on everyone's J12 purchases!

I have the white one with and without the diamonds, and am already planning to buy the black one with and without diamonds as well. I am ADDICTED to this watch.

I would love to own a 38mm white chronograph one too...

I just ordered my J12 Black 33mm with diamond markers ...It will be shipped monday...They had a 33mm without diamond markers WHICH IS ALSO nice...I have until Monday to change my mind...
What do you girls think...Diamond Markers or NO diamond markers.????..PLUS IS 33mm a good size???
DH thinks the diamonds make it more of a girly watch then without..I LIKE BOTH LOL...:D

Mine is a 33mm size which is the best size for my wrist, however, if you want to invest in an automatic watch, then get the 38mm (that's the smallest size for automatic J12). As to whether you should get diamon markers, I think your husband is right about it being more girly with the diamonds, but personally I like the #s one better, that's why I bought the one with #s instead. I don't know, the one with diamond markers is nice but I think the font of the numbers match the style of this watch perfectly. The diamond markers don't even "stand out" IMO, you know what I mean?
 
What color is your 33? Black?? I was going to get the 38mm but I already have the 39mm in white with diamonds from technomarine and it is big KWIM...You are right with the fonts...I like the way it looks and I CAN SAVE 600.00 if I don't get the diamonds...LOL
Because it is black I thought MAYBE the diamonds would be better kwim...I AM SO confused LOL....The markers are coming in MONDAY my SA said they sell out as soon as they get it..She has the number one there ready to ship out but I told her I would wait and she ordered the markers for me..I hope I like it. LOL..
SHE said the Numbers are SHARP espically in thew black watch...OH WELL...If you think of anything else let me know...Hikarupanda can you post a picture with yours on??? If so Thanks

Mine is white, I personally like white more. And i have posted the pics before on this post: http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/1049689-post15.html

maybe you can first get the one with the diamond markers since it sounds like it is hard to get a hold on it, then if you don't like it you can return and buy the one without diamonds instead (are you in the US? If so you have 14 days to return I think)

Your Pictures are not coming up...Yes I am here in the US ..Florida....White is MY favorite also...Since I Have a white technomarine with diamonds I thought I would do Black in j12 KWIM...I Might get the WHITE j12 also LOL...I love these ceramic watches SO MUCH...EVERYONE stops me with my techno and they THINK ITS the Chanel so I thought what the heck go treat yourself SO I DID and MY SA TOOK 20% off for the friends & family at saks..WHICH WAS A SURPRISE FOR ME....
I THINK in Black the Diamonds will Shine More in the face then the White since the white is a White background KWIM...MY SA told me that also that the Diamond face stands out more in the black...SO I GUESS I WILL SEE...

I just got this Yesterday and My Dad just sent me a white J12 with diamond Markers as a gift so Now I have 2 and I love them.I will post the white one tomorrow My camera needs to be charged LOL..........LOVE THESE
