Chanel Ligne Cambon Bags

back on topic: i also like the "flapless" version of the ligne cambon "birkin" (still don't know the official name of it) .... i think i'd get one in black-on-black (black with the huge white logo is too showoffish) if a) i had tons of money and b) the inside lining wasn't that bright fuchsia ..such a turnoff imo. it would be a lot nicer if it were lined in a deep bloody red.

maybe something small like a pochette in quilted lambskin or something would go for $700... but honestly i'm not too sure...

A smaller caviar bag would probably be under $1k, but I do not really know about the $700 range. You might be better off saving for a little while longe and getting a classic 2.55 in lambskin or caviar, which run in the $1200 range.

the chanel pochette is either 650 or 695, im pretty sure. i had one in white w/ black cc but i gave it to my little sister and i got the large tote [pink w/ black logo] for around 1200? i forget.. from neimans. ive only used it once =/

i've found the bag for me. the ligne cambon "overnight bag."
i'm going to get it in black-on-black, so it isn't as ostentatious with the giant logo.
i really, really love it ...

By the way, I'm a US size 8. I just realized that size 8 may mean something else in other countries

Dudette - I would suggest you go for the medium at least. I got the medium tote in beige with black cc logo and black lining. It fits perfect on my shoulder or just carrying it around the size is perfect for me imo but if you like the big bag then go for the large one. I also like the one that brian posted the pic (not the overnight).

Brian, im not very good with dimensions im afraid, but from what I could see, the width of the overnight bag *i think* was at least a good 60cm/70cm across? Sorry I cant help you much!
Im guessing that because the multipocket i got says 30cm on the receipt, so thats at least 2 or 3 times bigger.

I enquired this before and the SA told me the dimension of the overnight bag and it is 28cm x 37cm x 15 cm. the price down here in Australia is AUD$3129.50. I could be wrong.
Oh! the cc logo is actually in grey not white.
