I feel for sorry for the people in Shanghai right now! This is a terrible campaign, absolutely ruins the purpose of having that runway theme for their presentation!

I had the same thought, including the cliche part; it would be interesting to see the photo with an Asian / Eurasian model.

I like it in an inoffensive way, it's kinda quiet and I think the model was supposed to be just "kinda there" and her look and personality not be dominant, in other words a clothes hanger.

I wonder if there are more photos and if there are will the non-entity thing work across several pictures. In fairness to Mirte, I thought that the first photos from the SS2010 Chanel RTW campaign were kinda blah from a modeling standpoint, but the energy level picked up in later photos, probably more of a set thing than a model thing.

The first shot has such awkward positioning, I'm not surprised that some people see a photoshop disaster. I see something that's still in the realms of realism - the top leg corresponds to the foot on the right, the lower leg becomes the foot on the left - but nonetheless, it's as if she's raising that right foot so we can see both the shoes, and it seems unnatural.

Having said that, I would rather have this than any of that Baptiste-Freja nonsense, which has gone beyond a joke.

Oh these are much better. She's actually sitting down, which makes the clothes a bit more luxurious. I actually like them a lot, especially the one with the black coat, it's quite sexy.
